Friday Food For Thought

For a very long time we've been told that our children need quality time, not quantity time. Today, I'd like to challenge that thought...

  1. Cihildren do need both of those things!
Thanks for visiting my blog and I am happy that the fabric brought back fond memories for you. How romantic to honeymoon in France!

I have been praying for Layla. Are there any updates? Her and her family are so in my prayers today.

  2. Layla has been vomiting but is sleeping peacefully as of this morning. Her mom and dad update on Twitter regularly (more frequently than the blog):

  3. I think about the quality of the time my children get with me all of the time. Its what makes me stop folding laundry and washing dishes and just play with them.

I read about Layla for the 1st time last weekend and not one day has passed with her and her family not in my thoughts. I have given my kids more quality time and appreciation for them being their messy selves this week rather than getting annoyed by picking up after them too! Their age and time with us is too precious to spare.

  4. Visiting from SITS. That quote is amazing, being a "child" myself, I think quality time is something to be cherished. :) Happy Saturday.
