So Sweet Souffles!

I adore these yummy looking Little Lemon Souffles from Martha Stewart...the perfect nibble to round out a fabulous Easter feast!  Super cute, right?  I'm already working on my holiday dinner time management schedule because I definitely want to give these a try this weekend.  Admittedly, the idea of making a souffle always makes me a bit nervous, but these are just too stinkin' cute not to try!  For anyone else who's interested, you can find the entire recipe HERE :)

Koala Kraze

Looking for the perfect way to memorialize your summer trip to the beach? Why not give these cuddly koalas a try...I mean really, can you say Ca-ute?! Here's the How To:

1. Experiment with different combinations to come up with animal shapes before gluing everything into place. We chose small scallop and clam shells for the koalas, and long razor clams decorated with ring-top cowries for the tree.

2. Use small cushions of polymer clay, which is pliable and slightly sticky, to test out various arrangements. For assembly, a tacky, quick-drying glue works best. Build heads and bodies separately. Before joining larger parts, use a brush to glue on small parts (such as beads for eyes) and clay to support creatures while glue dries.

Looking for a simple, yet elegant way to decorate your Easter table this year? Check out this easy tutorial from www.marthastewart.com. Grab a purple or green permanent marker and I think these little cuties would stand in fabulously for traditional place card holders!

Hollowed-out eggshells make naturally beautiful vases for tiny flower arrangements. Break an egg at the top of its shell, drain the contents, and carefully rinse out the inside. Next, fill the empty shell with room-temperature water and place it in an eggcup for stability. Finally, insert small cuttings of your favorite blossoms (we used lilacs, lily of the valley, and violas). Individually or grouped together in a centerpiece, these tiny arrangements make a wonderful addition to the place settings at your table.
